The 2025 IFS annual conference was held on Thursday 19th June at the Dublin Dental Hospital, Lincoln Place, Trinity Colege, Dublin. There were a selection of short talks from five invited speakers and eleven speakers who submitted offered papers. There were also thirteen posters presented, four of which were selected for a short flash presentation also.
The 2025 conference was also treated to an art exhibition called "fungal galaxies" by Diego Bianchi. Diego is a PhD student in the botany department of Trinity College Dublin, studying arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. Registration began at 09:00, the welcome address was at 09:50, there was a fantastic lunch provided in the Trinity Dining Hall, and further refreshments were provided throughout the day, including a post-meeting reception.
